Wind Damage Claims

Professional assessment of wind damage, focusing on identifying lifted, torn, creased, or missing shingles and siding damage. We document structural impacts from tree limbs and flying debris to ensure a comprehensive evaluation. Our specialized reports capture every storm-related vulnerability to support your claim and the full restoration of your property.

Hail Impact Assessment

Detailed forensic inspection of residential roofing, gutters, and siding to document subtle hail impact damage often overlooked by standard adjusters. Using forensic methodology, we identify impact patterns on asphalt shingles and metal surfaces that often escape notice.  We are also able to pull weather reports on wind speed and hail size at your location to help substantiate the noted damage.

Water Damage

Expert documentation of residential water intrusion failures, focused on accurately valuing damage to interiors, drywall, cabinetry, trim material, flooring, etc. We provide a comprehensive valuation consisting of Xactimate reports with supporting photos to illustrate any and all affected areas in need of repair.

Did You Know Your Policy Includes an Appraisal Clause?

The Appraisal Clause: Your Protection Against Undervalued Claims

Most homeowners don't realize their insurance policy includes an appraisal clause that allows them to hire an independent appraiser to dispute a low insurance estimate and seek a fair and more accurate repair amount. It can be more cost effective than hiring an attorney and is also a faster way to attain a fair settlement.

How to Invoke the Appraisal Clause

Follow these essential steps to formally initiate the appraisal process and resolve claim disagreements with your carrier.

  • Confirm there is a disagreement on the amount of loss (not coverage).
  • Review the policy’s appraisal clause for any requirements or deadlines.
  • Select a competent and impartial appraiser.
  • Send a written demand for appraisal to the insurance carrier.
  • Include the claim number, property address, and your appraiser’s contact information.
  • Request the carrier provide its selected appraiser so the process can begin.
  • Send the notice by email and/or certified mail for documentation.

Strategic Advocacy & Professional Results

We are also licensed Public Adjusters and Construction Consultants. Our team has worked as appraisers on both the carrier side and the policyholder side so we understand the process. We also work for law firms as construction experts providing accurate damage estimates, photo reports, and summary reports to assist them in reaching a settlement with the opposing law firm for damage claims.  We actively network with other appraisers, adjusting firms and general contractors to broaden our resources. If you’ve incurred a loss and don’t know where to start, we can guide you as either your adjuster or appraiser and help you pursue a fair settlement.

Contact us today to walk you through the simple process and help you get your claim settled fairly.
